some small shoulder high peaks were enjoyed by the small crew staying with us at the moment so plenty of waves to go around . Lefts and rights on offer ,the sucky rights had the possibility for a small tube while the longer lefts were perfect for the guys with wider surfboards and SUP. Good fun had by all. With much better swell approaching in the next few days the boys have taken the opputunity to spend the afternoon with the girls snorkling the nearby reefs .w

Small clean line last night and today providing some fun ,2-3ft waves . what it lacks in power it has made up for in beauty. clear skies and light NW breeze fanning the mechanical waist high waves . hopefully this seasonal January /February weather holds in through to the weekend because some long period, slightly bigger swell is starting to show on the reports for later in the week . our fingers are crossed for some pre-season magic.w

A great start to the new year with clear skys, no wind and a head high storm swell cleaning itself up over night to produce some pretty nice waves in the so called 'off season'.
The team here at RLZ are busy readying the resort for the coming months and we are looking forward to a great year.
congratulations to both Mick and Joel on a fantastic ASP year, heres hoping its joels turn in 2010 ! w

To put it simply, the surf of the last week has been amazing!
The last swell and 2 extra pulses all rolled in to the island chain bigger than expected, lighting up most breaks. Clean conditions with little to no wind actually made the selection of which break to surf very difficult on some days as they were all going off.
The only 2 guests in the resort at the moment have had the cream to choose from and we have been surfing overhead surf for over a week with most days offering tubes and some offering nothing but tubes.
The ocean seems to be settling a bit now, a welcomed sight so we can all rest those aching muscles and be ready for the next pulse due before the weekend. w
